Workshops exploring non-duality with Jonny Baker
Jonny began meditating at 15 and moved into a Buddhist community whilst still at school.
After 20 years as an ordained Buddhist he left this tradition in order to explore other spiritual and healing traditions more widely.
Currently in Brighton, he specialises in guiding people either individually or in small groups, to a deep, transformative shift in consciousness. His way of teaching is accessible to anyone, regardless of their beliefs.
His teachings are clear, humorous and engaged. He teaches an approach to awareness and the mind that is influenced by Buddhism but not identified with any one tradition.
His previous workshops have been a great success and we are really happy to welcome him back.
He recently taught at the Osho Leela and Into the Wild Festival.
Here is what Jonny has to say about non-duality:
“The underlying reality of life is that everything is interconnected, nothing is separate. Most of us will have some sense of that, and perhaps accept to some extent that this is how things are. And yet, in our day-to-day lives, we experience ourselves as separate: from other people, nature, and even life itself, and out of this sense of separation arises pain, suffering and conflict.
This workshop is a clear, practical and profound introduction to what non-dual awareness is, and how we can begin to explore it in our own lives.”
Jonny will talk from his own experience about the nature of non-duality and guide us in some powerful and effective awareness exercises and meditations. Through these practices and discussions, we will explore the possibilities of non-dual awareness and how it can open doorways to a richer, happier and more complete experience of ourselves, whilst bringing us to a deeper sense of harmony with everything around us.
The workshop is open to everyone.
